5 Feet of Fury

My life so far, summed up in one blog post (written by someone else)

September 20, 2012 By Kathy Shaidle

Although I really don’t believe anyone is ever “just kidding,” here’s Gavin McInnes remembering The Forgotten Rebels, the big punk band from my old hometown:

He was making fun of hosers but most people missed out on the satire. I saw the Forgotten Rebels a few times and remember Mickey wearing a “Bomb Iraq” shirt during the Gulf War.

The way I took the song was, “What about this way of thinking that some people have?”

Sometimes I wish they would bomb the boats. Sometimes I don’t.

The beauty of pre-PC  punk was it didn’t really worry about any of that. It just threw it out there.

Sid Vicious wore a swastika for the same reason bikers did: to be a jerk.

I like jerks.
