Notorious 100-year-old leftwing nutcase Rick Salutin says of ISIS and the Westerners it attracts:

These young people aren’t monsters and haven’t had their brains or bodies snatched. They’re going through adolescence. It’s dicey.

These types cannot go a day without steering everything back to their supposedly rebellious, noble, misunderstood youth.

In excusing these “teenagers,” he is looking for validation for his own youthful activities, and reasserting his position on the “cool,” right side of history.
