It took me three days to remember the name of this song and this band (video)

I’ve always thought this REM-y song should’ve been a hit. It really meant a lot to me when I was younger.

Too bad I don’t have my vinyl any more. I got the name of the song wrong (as it turns out) and couldn’t remember the name of the band. Even googling bits of lyrics accomplished nothing.

I could see the pinkish album cover in my mind. And the band’s name had a “P” in it.

I was laying in bed last night when I remembered their name: The Plastercine Replicas. They aren’t even in iTunes.

I am old.
