Now that’s a public safety statistic for you, as it dwarfs the 32,000 people (a sizeable percentage of whom are gangbangers) killed each year by gun-toting folks.
By the way, Jovan Belcher’s guns were legally obtained. His girlfriend is dead because Belcher was a thug (with a prior history of violence) who didn’t value black lives….not his girlfriend, not his own, and certainly not their now-orphaned three-month-old daughter.
