5 Feet of Fury

What would we do without journalists? (UPDATED)

The ones that are still alive, I mean.

UPDATE:

Oregonian editor Kathleen Glanville was fired last week for telling the paper Bob Caldwell, its editorial page editor, had died in a car. In fact, he died at the apartment of a young woman he’d been paying for sex.

Glanville also “drove to the young woman’s apartment and moved Caldwell’s vehicle from the scene,” Corey Pein reports today in Willamette Week. (…)

Pein also reports that the Oregonian published 16 unsigned editorials since 2000 deploring prostitution. Caldwell was editor of the section the whole time.
