If Joanna Manning truly was the courageous person she always wanted others to think she was, she would have left the Church years ago, instead of continuing to present herself in public, via the unquestioning mainstream media, as a “devout Catholic.”
Doing so would have demanded almost superhuman bravery, because her entire personal and public life was tied up with being “that liberal Catholic woman.”
I get it.
It’s still trashy.
Alas, I fear her considerable personal charm and attractiveness will continue to lead gullible people astray.
