I heard Geert Wilders speak three times yesterday–once on the radio, once on TV and once in person. Each time he stated clearly that his issue is not with “Muslims,” the majority of whom are nice enough people and who go about their business without bothering anyone. His problem is with Islam and its intrinsic totalitarianism, which he sees as a danger to Western-style freedom.
That’s what I heard him say with my very own ears.

Meanwhile, as Scaramouche notes, Farber told the press:
“Geert Wilders knows how to offend in the grossest possible way,” said Farber. “There are huge issues with Islamic extremism here and around the world, but to paint every Muslim with the same brush…is not the way we do things here.”
