News flash: nobody wants to live in Newfoundland!

October 16, 2011 By Kathy Shaidle

Rex Murphy proves that, as I keep telling you, Conquest’s First Law is crap, and in fact, his very own Second Law proves it.

Every “conservative” I know is a liberal about what he knows best/his pet cause; gay “conservatives” want gay “marriage”, and overwhelmingly, “conservative” Newfies suddenly get irrational when the subject is their home province.

Now, being Newfies, I guess they can’t help it, but even a brilliant Rhodes Scholar like Murphy goes gooey at the thought that, holy hell,  most folks don’t want to live on a freezing rocky island with no jobs!
