‘The affair was very possibly partly inspired by seeing ‘Heavenly Creatures”

An appreciation of one of my favorite films (no surprise there), one which I’ve literally been cursed at the next day for recommending to people.

Come to think of it, the curser was an unmarried woman was deeply involved in a long-time, and I don’t doubt, 100% celibate “special friendship” with another woman. Maybe the film, as the kids like to say, struck a nerve?
