Freedom from discrimination a ‘subhuman right’

September 7, 2011 By Kathy Shaidle

Stand Up for Canada explains why Charter of Rights and Freedoms is a useless piece of crap:

The federal government set the example when it passed the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, in which the necessary civil right of equality before the law is immediately and hopelessly compromised by an exemption. The government can treat citizens unequally if it believes the treatment “ameliorates the conditions of disadvantaged individuals or groups”.

So, if civil rights don’t need to apply to all citizens, why should human rights apply to all humans?

***
Translation:

The Canadian government reserves the “right” to treat you unequally, in order to (ostensibly) make everybody more equal!

Because the ends justify the means.
