Yeah, I was drunk and they were stoned, but we still had what today would be called “talking points.” They turned out to be the wrong answers, in retrospect, but we at least had some stats.
And we didn’t call counterprotesters “gay.” (!?)

The angry Progressive man who argues with Breitbart in the top clip above is named Reverend Eugene Winkler. From his bio:
“The Rev. Dr. Eugene Winkler has served since 1989 as Senior Pastor of the historic Chicago Temple First United Methodist Church.”
Reverend Winkler is also known for having sued both the City of Chicago AND the Department of Defense over the Boy Scouts:
“The suit, Winkler v. City of Chicago, was filed on behalf of Eugene Winkler and Kevin Poloncarz.
“Winkler is a Methodist minister who objects to the City’s endorsement of religion. Poloncarz is a gay agnostic who wished to volunteer as an adult leader in one of the City’s scouting program. He objects to the exclusion of homosexuals from the City’s scouting programs as well as the requirement that participants make a pledge that acknowledges God.”
