‘We Have Jobs’ – Why There Are Fewer Protests By Regular Americans

It’s become a commonplace for conservatives to joke that they are too busy working to go to protest, especially if, as is often the case, we are demonstrating, not to change a law, but to show support for a law that already exists.

But as James Fulford points out:

[I]mmigration enforcement is already the law, and… wait for it… the policy of every other government in the world. Especially the government of Mexico.

But we do need to march–if we don’t, we’ll no longer be able to say “We have jobs.”
