After my recent post, a reader writes:
My theory is that everyone between 45 and 65 is going insane. People who have a lot of contact with them, like college students and their employees, are catching the crazy too.
(…)
It’s like we live under a RipvanWinkleocracy – we’re ruled by people who have been in suspended animation for more than a decade. A friend of mine (you’d like his blog, he’s a semi-famous FTM transsexual who recently realized the left is a death cult) wrote recently after giving a speech at Humboldt: “I guess a ‘new’ thread is ‘social justice.” I have been reading about this online, they have conferences and so on, and these ideas are influencing elementary and secondary education big time. More on that as I explore it.”
To which I replied, you mean everyone is now attending Catholic school in the 80s, without the holy parts?

The other day I came across a twenty year old book on my shelves about “going green” and cleaning your house with vinegar and recycling. We went through all this crap in the late 80s, but people walk around like using tote bags instead of plastic ones at the grocery store is some new thing.
Everyone is a pod person.
