NPR listeners not so hip and sophisticated after all?

March 5, 2009 By admin

Well, yes and no…

“I’m grateful I don’t have children to whom I have to explain what a ‘foot fetish’ is!”

NPR listeners may be even less “sophisticated” than… quilters!

“Since when did JoAnn Fabrics become the arbiter of MY morals? I’ll go to church for that … and when I want styrofoam chickens I’ll go to JoAnn’s.”

This post is starting to sound like an Iggy Pop song (warning: video features non-stop swearing. Also a then-45-year-old heavy drug user in way better shape than most of us [Heroin makes you sinew-y]):

PS: Velvet Goldmine was cheesy, predictable, screenplay-I’d-have-written-when-I-was-19 crap, but Ewan McGregor’s “Curt Wild” was still very impressive (warning: nudity):
