Oh yeah: the same Norman Spector who got dumped from the old Shotgun blog after he repeatedly accused me of “lying on my resume” because I’d said — truthfully — that I had once been a columnist for the Toronto Star (a fact easily verifiable by a quick look through the Star’s paid online archives).
The Norman Spector who continued to stand by his weird assertion because he was being fed misinformation by a hysterical, vindictive anonymous troll — until the evidence that he was being a stubborn sucker proved irrefutable. (But not before he ruined my weekend, and that of the site’s moderator.)
Oh, and Norman Spector wrote on numerous occasions that I “was personally responsible for late term abortions in Canada.” Nope, I don’t get that either.
Yeah, that Norman Spector. What Norman Spector has to say under oath interests me SO much.
UPDATE: a long time reader reminds me that Norman Spector also used to “sockpuppet” at the Shotgun, using names some of you would recognize.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen: not only is Norman Spector a former diplomat (!) and Mulroney Chief of Staff (!!) but Norman Spector still writes a newspaper column after being exposed as a total fool at the Shotgun.
