the famous Free Hugs guy, the Hug Thug Jermaine Himmelstein, who finally got put away in 2016 after all those years of punching girls in the face in Times Square?

That a black thug is confused about the very concept of “free” isn’t that surprising.

When you watch Judge Judy, you learn that low class people like this are mixed up about a lot of basic English terminology.

I don’t just mean their irritating if revealing habit of mixing up “borrowed” and “loaned” [“I borrowed him ten dollars”] which conveniently renders ownership and agency blurry.

I mean the way you and I think of “taxes” as something we pay, whereas America’s “poor” think of “taxes” as something they get, in the form of a refund every April.
