I’m tired of pointing this out, so I’ll let this guy:
In 1972 Geraldo Rivera exposed Willowbrook State School (an asylum) for terrible living conditions and abuse of patients—since then the entire idea of locking up crazy people was deemed “abusive.” The ACLU has fought to make sure that the insane can’t be involuntarily put away. Civil Liberties—they have a point, but the result is a lot of homeless people wandering our inner cities who really should be institutionally cared for. The Left will not let us lock up our loons.
Sirhan Sirhan was obviously a nut. Should have been locked up. Wasn’t. Ooops.
