The server we run this blog and Arnie’s on runs about $100 a month. (I wouldn’t have it any other way, just sayin’.)
This is my 16th year blogging.
A kind of prosaic anniversary number as those things go — the gift “symbol” is probably something like “area rugs” — but still.
Thanks to everyone, especially those who’ve reading that long, or close to it. Yes, there are a few of you!
Sometimes I hate doing this and other times I can’t wait to log in. I’ve taken more pleasure than I probably should have from watching some of my detractors and critics suffer and shutter themselves, while I remain standing.
Blogging has gotten me hired, fired, sued — and allowed me to go places and meet people I never would have otherwise. (Yeah, even an incurable introvert and misanthrope like me doesn’t mind such stuff, as long as the places and people are more or less agreeable…)
So just a quick thank you.
