This 1985 interview with Julie Burchill is behind the Rock’s Back Pages firewall. I pay a lot for an annual membership and stuff like this is one reason why.

Also this week: “Robin Banks” (yes, of the song…) writes surprisingly well for ZigZag about his trip to Paris with The Clash in 1981. These were there concerts at the Mogador and not, alas, the Bataclan, which seemed to have disappeared into the mists of time.
