‘Beware of anyone who insists on reframing your sincere curiosity as a character defect’

September 21, 2015 By Kathy Shaidle

Jim Goad on Ann Coulter’s Jewish problem:

Beware of anyone who insists on reframing your sincere curiosity as a character defect. Beware of anyone who questions your motives while ignoring your facts. When someone calls you bad names merely for asking questions, it suggests they know the answer but are terrified to admit it.

Comedian Sam Kinison once had a line to the effect of, “I didn’t even want to fuck you in the ass until you told me I couldn’t!” In the same spirit, being sternly instructed that some questions are never to be asked immediately has me asking questions such as, “Why not?”
