Adult colouring books are video games for women (who shouldn’t be allowed to vote)

September 2, 2015 By Kathy Shaidle

Like video games, colouring books oblige you to navigate within pre-programmed parameters.

Gamers kid themselves that they’re “on a journey/crusade” but all available paths were created by a programmer.

And we all know the colouring book rule: Colour within the lines.

It’s hard to imagine anything less creative and more conformist.

Yet here we see women engaged in another activity that provides one with the illusion of work and “creativity”, in the same way that indulgence in conspiracy theories provides the illusion of “research” and “investigation,” and playing video games, the illusion of “mastery” and “accomplishment.”

These women flaunt their minor aches and pains as evidence of said effort and accomplishment.

It’s all very sad.

Unless I’m mistaken, the article doesn’t mention whether or not any of them have children…
