5 Feet of Fury

Only good writer at National Review gets all huffy about a trivial aside

Kevin D. Williamson really didn’t like my Taki’s piece about National Review, but he chose THE weirdest thing about it to single out for derision:

Look: it was a goofy aside that, in the larger scheme of the whole piece, was a tiny bit of colour that made my sentence sound slightly better.

Is that really all you’ve got, Kevin D. Williamson Who I Use To Think Was Smarter and Better Than This?

You don’t have anything to say about William F. Buckley allegedly covering up for a liberal celebrity pedophile, then?

Or about why you guys let a marquee writer leave?

M’kay. Thanks for the hits, though!

(Anyhow, Mark Steyn linked to it, so there’s that…)

UPDATE: Oh, he’s back, stamping his other foot!
