A Liberal MHA claims a series of protests helped get a group of Quebec Innu work on the Muskrat Falls project.
She says the hiring protocol clearly states qualified Labrador Innu first, qualified residents of Labrador second, qualified residents of Newfoundland third. Dempster says Quebec Innu are not part of the hiring protocol but all of a sudden, since their protests, they’re getting hiring preference.
