Islamic supremacists need anti-Muslim hate crimes to further their claims that Muslims are being victimized unfairly by counter-terror efforts, and that therefore those counter-terror efforts should cease. In this case, Hamas-linked terror org CAIR called for a hate crime investigation, and other Islamic supremacists rushed to claim it was a hate crime. Will they now retract and apologize? Of course not. Like Hitler’s army, they only advance, never retreat.
