‘They went to Woodstock, they don’t really remember what they did’

They were at parties where there was a little cocaine, and the straw was passing around. You know, something as benign-seeming as that is risk for hepatitis C. Or a little adventure with IV drugs once or twice in college is frequently enough, and they put it out of their mind – it was 40 years ago.

The CDC just put out a guidance last August suggesting that all baby boomers be checked for hepatitis C.
