Some of these pre-auction estimates sound totally random and bizarre

Wow, it must be SOOOOOO dark up Richard Metzger’s ass, huh…?

So:

A six-figure amount for the original lyrics to “Maxwell’s Silver Hammer” — one of Paul’s many horrible, horrible songs — but a few thousand for some of John Lennon’s personal gold records?

Don’t be fooled by the “Punk” promise in the auction title; there are only six things”. Mick Jones has not cleaned out his “garden shed” or anything.

Everybody start saving now for when he and Rick Nielsen die.

“Being an only child…” They both are. So there’s that…

 

Unfortunately, this collection isn’t 100% complete as a ton of Mick’s stuff was burgled when he was on an early tour.

I couldn’t sleep at night, worrying that all this stuff could go up in flames:
