For a start the wealthy are often very productive people, and if they are prepared to pay their way to avoid congestion then both they and society benefit.
The Standard goes on to make some truly worthwhile points but was that “I’m not one of those EVIL conservatives!” blurt necessary — especially to supposedly take the edge off a paragraph that, once upon a time, would’ve been printed without any such wimpy qualifications in… the Weekly Standard?
