(Must read) — Ed Driscoll: Publishers Without Borders

March 23, 2014 By Kathy Shaidle

As three more of Toronto’s most famous bookstores close their doors, this meaty post by Ed Driscoll makes for timely reading.

While working on my next Taki column (which I’m supposed to be doing right now instead of posting this…) I made a rare “visit” to my big livingroom book case. The books I owned were some help, but not much. They mostly pointed towards other books, which I browsed using Google’s “Book” search.

That said, it felt kind of cool to be skimming the paper indices of dusty old-ish books again. But that “cool” feeling doesn’t get columns written.
