On ‘Blazing Saddles’ 40th anniversary, a ‘it could never get made today’ argument I’ll almost buy

I’m so sick of that expression, even though Brooks himself says it. (I don’t think he’s up on what gets made today, and of course he’s going to say that, right?)

At least this guy makes an original case:

It’s not the writing (entirely), it’s the acting.

Gene Wilder has never gotten enough credit, no Oscars, nothing.
