Today in yesterday: Big Maybelle dies, age 47

I discovered Big Maybelle in the now late-lamented Sam the Record Man.

They were having a 5-for-$20 sale or some such, and I needed to top up my handful of CDs. On a hunch, I grabbed this.

I don’t remember the other four CDs now.
