Pro tip: Bragging about how stupid you are is not attractive

January 3, 2014 By Kathy Shaidle

I meant to link to Jonah Goldberg’s fine column more or less on that subject earlier this week.

Now I’m reminded it it, having read Kevin Williamson’s outstanding — really, don’t NOT click — meditation at NRO, on the relentless passage of time.

It’s a topic that has fascinated poets and philosophers since, well, the beginning of time.

However, a gang of hick commenters at Hot Air are having none of this fancy book learnin’ and Hindoo mumbo jumbo.

If I may be a little blunter than Goldberg:

The conservative “movement” or whatever we’re calling it has no further use for your bumpkinry.

Bragging about how stupid you are is not attractive.
