I don’t actually believe anyone should “apologize” just because some self-appointed, privileged “community group” like GLAAD demands that you do so.
In fact, that’s the perfect time not to “apologize.”
We all know these “apologies” are as insincere as the “outrage” surrounding the “offense.”
It’s Apology Theater, something those on both sides can tsk about instead of dealing with real problems.
We have to stop participating in this game of charades.
