When I read “great intros” I thought they meant Paul Stanley’s (room clearing) interstitial patter, but anyhow…

Lots of old-farty tunes on this thread.

I have to agree with the guy who suggested “Thunderstruck.”

How long does something have to be to qualify as an “intro” though?

Is there a strict music theory definition or do they just mean, “The clarion call at the start of the song that announces its own majesty, like the roar of a T-Rex that’s just coming into view”?

Because if that is what they mean then there are some giant holes in this list that need to be filled with pretty much any song on this album. Just keep clicking on the bar at every three minute mark or so:
