Just a reminder that something like 12,000 Americans die gun-related homicides every year.

That is 0.004% of the population.

(And 1% of that 0.004% represents mass killing sprees.)

Of those 12,000, a far more significant percentage of the victims are actually career criminals killing each other or being killed by cops or armed homeowners in self-defense.
