Anyhow, the UN building did get destroyed in a big movie, by Chief Inspector Dreyfus, no less. That loony nemesis of Clouseau vaporized the building by means of a laser doomsday weapon located in his French chateau of all places.
I think this movie, The Pink Panther Strikes Again, should be nominated for some sort of award for eliminating the hated UN in the most diabolical way by boobs only slightly more demented than its inhabitants.
