First Rich Lowry suddenly wants to have an honest conversation about race, a year after firing Derb for doing that very thing.

Now Heather MacDonald, in the same National Review, has written a blog post that basically makes all the same demographic and crime-stat points Derb got fired for writing about somewhere else.

I always say that yesterday’s “extreme, racist” opinions are tomorrow’s mainstream news — especially when it comes to the decay of Detroit, which was a “white supremacist” meme ten years ago — but this is ridiculous.
