As you get ready to watch (or avoid) Behind the Candelabra, note that in 1988, not one but two made-for-TV Liberace biopics came out.
Of the two, Victor Garber’s performance has stuck with me. (Alas, I can’t find a video clip.)
The other actor who portrayed him, Andrew Robinson, was unforgettable as “Scorpio” in Dirty Hairy, but also a memorable “Lee.”
