I used to sneak cigarettes with one of the only other “punks” in the school — a Nancy Spungeon type but with red hair and green-and-bronze eyeshadow — who claimed she’d had a fling with him.

Anyway, someone swears he knows someone who swears they saw Brian Eno in a porn film.

PS: Chrissie Hynde should’ve stuck to music journalism — but that’s my “overrated musicians” column for next week…
