‘I couldn’t care less if Nigel Farage visited a strip club’

Let me stress again, I’m not trying to hail Nigel Farage as the greatest political tactician of our age. “Answer the question honestly” is not a stratagem you can only come up with after a lifetime studying Thucydides, Sun Tzu and Clausewitz.

Rather, what I’m saying is that the reason Nigel Farage is rightly doing so well at the moment is because unlike most politicians he says what he actually thinks rather than what he thinks he ought to think.
