As with the SPLC-cribbing Lieutenant-Colonel above, the Army has not decided on its own that VDARE.com is a bad influence on the troops—it’s outsourced the decision to the censorware companies that try to block corporate employees from watching porn or gambling at work. These have their own ideas of what is and isn’t PC, usually derived from the SPLC and/or the ADL, and we frequently have to have our lawyers send them letters.

The problem with the Army using censorware is that it prevents soldiers from learning things that may save their lives.
