($20.00 + tax and 15% gratuity for club members, $27.00 plus tax and 15% gratuity for non-members)

Unworthy Creature: A Punjabi Daughter’s Memoir of Honour, Shame and Love shows rather than tells what it is like to grow up in a culture where girls and women bear the burden of their family’s honour. In a culture obsessed with the primacy of sons, daughters are valued for nothing other than their reproductive functions. Aruna Papp speaks out for the thousands of South Asian girls and women who suffer in silence within this retrograde cultural matrix, not only in the first but in the second and third generations- and goes where feminists and multiculturalists fear, out of political correctness, to tread.”
