Dyke-y Glenda Jackson still declaring Margaret Thatcher ‘not a woman’

I remember Jackson saying Thatcher wasn’t “a proper woman” back when she was first elected PM.

Even then, I thought: “That doesn’t sound very… feminist.”

Believe it or not, it was one of those tiny incidents that added up to me leaving the Left eventually.
