‘Math is hard,’ say leftists, or: Four is not a ‘coalition’

April 9, 2013 By Kathy Shaidle

When I was a leftist, one of my gripes was the overuse of “coalition.”

A coalition is “a group of groups,” not just a really big group.

Or in this case, a comically small one.

All these anti-racism, anti-patriarchy protesters are white and male, as you had guessed.

Best tidbit:

One picket sign depicted an AK-47 and the words “This machine kills racists” — but the protester didn’t show up with, you know, a real gun and, er, kill any racists.

Magritte wept.

The same guy’s other sign acknowledges that genetics may very well help determine intelligence, however, so that’s progress!

And I’m intrigued by the newspaper’s description of the cantor’s companion as his “spouse.”

Was it a dude? I only see men in this photo.

And would this same cantor show up to protest a bunch of Muslim supremacists?
