Indeed, I know of alleged journalists who have contacted the employers of people they hated— Scott Shane of the New York Times (back when he was with the Baltimore Sun) and Betsy Hammond of Portland’s Oregonian, who have contacted the employers of people they hated for political reasons, in bids to get them fired from their jobs.
