Of course, we tried that here in Toronto a few years after a little boy was murdered in the vicinity, and gays turned that into a narrative of their own persecution.
And as David Horowitz chronicled diligently at the time, all attempts to shut down or regulate bath houses at the start of the AIDS epidemic were denounced as an attack on “gay culture” by Ronald Reagan (?!), leading to — you’ll never guess — the spread of the disease, and the ability of gays to hold the rest of us hostage right up until today.
AIDS is the reason we have “gay marriage.”
