5 Feet of Fury

Oh great: ‘You have the right person’ is the new ‘Let him have it’ *

When I first heard this, I assumed the most commonsensical thing:

Having been awakened first thing in the morning and asked her name, the woman said, “Yes, you have the right person” — i.e., I am the woman by that name with a son named Jason in Colorado.

That phrase can’t mean anything else — unless you’re a liberal, a journalist or both.

Remember: the post-modern progressive default mindset is that every event and expression has a secret hidden meaning.

As a reader was kind enough to remind me via email the last time I wrote about this toxic mental habit, this is Gnosticism. And Gnosticism is a pernicious heresy.

I do hope we don’t have to watch liberals caught up in the cheap thrill of mental masturbation (again) for the next thirty years…
