This man though is actually Ontario’s Attorney General and that makes him the top lawyer, the top justice official in Ontario.
So his comments about gun bans and his justification are extremely dangerous.

When pressed on why this would work and pressed on the fact that most there are not many murders committed with legal handguns Gerretsen asked why anyone should have a handgun and dismissed the idea of civil liberties and freedoms as “an American notion.”
That comment alone should disqualify him from voting never mind holding public office.
