‘Look In Any Window’ (1961) way better than it has any right to be

July 14, 2012 By Kathy Shaidle

Look in Any Window stars Paul Anka as a teenaged peeping tom.

You think I’m kidding.

How could I not tape this curio when it aired on TCM?

This movie is a must see if you’re fond of the “JD/self absorbed suburban 50s and 60s parents are to blame/Saturday Evening Post slightly undigested Freudianism” genre.

It’s like a cross between The Swimmer and, well, Peeping Tom.

Distracting day-for-night shots aside, Look in Any Window is surprisingly well done.
