Whoever found that song for Philip Philips deserves an award of his own

It’s probably off somebody’s old demo tape (Hey, why not just google it) but it sounds like it was written for him.

Kind of a Celtic/ Paul Simon vibe. It will be the biggest debut single in AI history for sure.

Also, my sympathies to whoever’s job it was to talk him into dueting on “Up Where We Belong”, no doubt by reminding him that Joe Cocker wasn’t too cool to sing it, so…

Highlight of the night — The original “Dreamgirl” performs her showstopper:

PS: Joshua shoulda won. “Disgraceful” isn’t a strong enough word. I am still livid. Put down that crack pipe, America!

(And yeah, Fantasia looks SO bad — despite/due to the $$$ “virgin Indian” hair. Genes suck. And from what I can make out, she still must have trouble reading, because she just scats through the lyrics.)

Let’s remember happier times, before she let her family of “cuzzins” leech all her money off her — Like how I predicted she would win (at about the 1:40 mark):
