This has bothered me for years.
I have a 1950s figure, because my measurements more closely match those of the “average housewife” of the time.
These guys say it has something to do with housework.
Except…
I don’t do housework “50s” style either.
And the women who do are usually short round foreigners…
So I guess the mystery remains.
